Their number one priority was getting married. They couldn’t wait to be joined as one. So much so, Lauren and Scotty decided to move their wedding from the original date they had decided on to a closer one because they didn’t want to wait any longer. It was a beautiful day for a wedding. These two were married in a gorgeous ceremony surrounded by fifty of their closest friends and family, and I feel so lucky to have been witness to these two forever joining their lives together as one. Congratulations Lauren and Scotty! I’m so incredibly happy for the both of you!
A huge thanks to Sarah for helping me out through the evening.
Lauren and Scotty decided to have a first look. Because their ceremony was scheduled at sunset this worked out perfectly. We were able to finish all the family photos before hand as opposed to after the ceremony when the sun would be set. It also helped the day flow much more smoothly.
I love the colors Lauren chose for the bridesmaid dresses. It all flowed perfectly together. Gorgeous.
A last minute prayer before the ceremony.
Lauren and her Dad in a private moment before her walk down the aisle.
Instead of the traditional handshake between the father of the bride and the groom, Scotty and Lauren’s dad decided to do one of their own “man shakes”
Which gave everyone a good laugh
The wedding and reception took place at the pavillion at Rob Flemming Park in The Woodlands.
Thanks to Sarah for this view during the ceremony. It’s so great having two photographers for different angles throughout the ceremony.
This is one of my favorite images from the day. They are so happy to be married.
A few more relaxed portraits before the sun set completely.
